Warning Message:A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am CST
Wednesday.
* Timing...periods of light snow will transition to steady snow
overnight. The snow will then persist through Tuesday night.
* Snow accumulations will range from 10 to 14 inches by late
Tuesday night. The heaviest snow will fall Tuesday and Tuesday
night.
* Winds...east winds of 5 to 15 mph will turn to the north to
northeast on Tuesday and increase to 15 to 30 mph...with gusts
to 35 mph possible for a time Tuesday night. Blowing and
drifting snow will become widespread Tuesday afternoon and
night. Near blizzard conditions are expected for a time near

continued treacherous travel conditions. The blowing snow may
reduce the visibility to less than one half mile in open areas.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...

conditions are expected. Significant amounts of snow are
forecast...along with blowing and drifting that will make travel
hazardous. If you are traveling...keep an extra flashlight...
food...and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
